Using our 20 years experience in private party performance, we've put together two special entertainment packages!

Barn Dance with Blue Sage (Contra Dance)

Contra Dance
Once a month, the members of Blue Sage host a public Contra Dance in Northern Utah. We can arrange for the band and a caller to perform for private events as well:

  • Blue Sage provides background music before and during dinner while the guests socialize.

  • After dinner our dance caller gathers the guests together for an authentic "Barn Dance"

    • No previous dance experience or talent required! Plan on a delightful evening dancing to a live band playing traditional Fiddle/Banjo tunes.

    For those not familiar with contra dancing, it's what square dancing was like a hundred years ago. You don't need to do anything other then a brisk walk in contra dancing. Our dance caller will walk you through each dance before it begins. It's fun for all ages and is danced to live music from the American and Celtic traditions.





    Blue Sage with a Cowboy Poet

    A special western flavored entertainment package which we consider the ideal dinner program for conferences, and company parties:

  • Blue Sage provides background music before and during dinner while the guests socialize.
  • We then bring in a world class cowboy poet for a short after dinner show.
  • Blue Sage then returns to play a few tunes while the guests finish socializing.

    • Combining the Blue Sage Trio with a cowboy poet provides more entertainment and keeps the costs down. A full evening of music plus a variety act for the price of a quartet alone!
